Race details

 
 

The course is a relatively flat 4.4 mile loop on paved roads. Most of the loop is on quiet streets, so traffic is low. Walkers start at 8:45am and walk the loop in a counter-clockwise direction. Runners start at 9am and run the loop clockwise.


There will be two water stations along the way. There will also be a water station for dogs! Friendly dogs are welcome to participate.


Course Directions (for runners): Aldis to Elm, Elm to Pearl St, Pearl

to Brigham Rd. Brigham to Newton, back to Elm then on to Aldis. All

right turns for runners (lefts for walkers). Volunteers on corners to

Awards

The awards ceremony will begin as soon as possible after the last walkers & runners have completed the race loop (approx. 10:15 - 10:30am). Awards, in the form of Boston Cream pies (Brandon’s favorite dessert), will be given to the top three runners in each age category.

Amenities

  1. •Bagels, bananas and water will be available before and after the race. 

  2. •The facility has changing rooms and bathrooms.

  3. •A silent auction will be held throughout the morning and will close after the awards have been completed.

  4. •Friendly dogs are welcome to join us for the event!

  5. •Lifeguards will be on duty for those who want to cool down after the race in the pool, so bring your suit!
